Michael is the founder of Railize. He is a Chartered Engineer in NZ and holds a Bachelor in Science in Civil Engineering from Lunds Technical Institute of Technology, Sweden and a Master in Engineering Railway Infrastructure from Queensland’s University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.Michael worked extensively across Europe in the first decade of his career, honing his technical skills on track design and track infrastructure. His technical expertise took him to Asia, Middle East and America in the next decade before settling in New Zealand.His successful career spans over 20 years and four continents where he completed some of the biggest railway projects worldwide, including:Lead Designer and Technical Advisor for Copenhagen Metro Phase 1+2, DenmarkTender Design for Manila LRT, PhilippinesDraft the Technical Specification for the High-Speed Rail in SwedenTrack Design Lead and Technical Advisor City Rail Link, Auckland, New Zealand
